What are the benefits of a collapsible stable?
The biggest advantage of a collapsible stable is that they cut transport costs and time significantly. Horses often travel on a one-way ticket, so the ability to stack your stables for the return journey saves considerable space in the plane’s hold, and makes repositioning much easier on the ground and in the warehouse.
Do all stables allow grooms to enter the stable?
Yes, all stable designs, whether fixed or collapsible, provide grooms with their own entrance.
Does VRR also lease these container?
No, VRR only sells these stables.
Could regular cargo be loaded inside a VRR stable?
Yes, this is feasible, but you’d have either remove the interior or place it to the side of the stable.
What is a partition?
This is an interior part of the horse stable which is used to separate the horses. Partitions are usually slidable/moveable to allow different configurations inside the stable.
What is a groom door?
This is an entrance door, either sliding or hinged, that gives grooms easy access to the stable.
What is a breast frame?
Breast frames are situated in front of the horses and separate the horses from the groom area. They provide a safe working area for the grooms.
What is an aft bar?
This bar is situated at the rear side of the stable and is used to prevent the horse from walking backwards after being loaded into the stable. It also adds to the safety of the groom and other loading personnel.
What is a kick door?
Kick doors are situated at the rear of the stable and help lead the horses towards their position in the stable. They also protect the groom and other loading personnel from kicks. Kick doors can only be applied to fixed, rigid horse stables.
What is the average lifetime of a stable?
A VRR horse stable will last you around 15 years when properly maintained and handled.
Is the base watertight?
Yes, the base of every horse stables that VRR supplies is sealed and tested before delivery to the customer.
Can the stables be cleaned easily?
Yes, the interior and exterior may be cleaned with any quality industrial detergent, cleaner and/or water. The interior must be wiped dry with a clean cloth.
