Want to join a talented crew of creators and achievers who spend their days developing ground-breaking products? Our people excel at making air transportation smarter and faster. And they love to team up with other experts. If you’re yearning to experiment and conceive new ways of doing things, jump on board.
If you don’t see us advertising your dream job, but you’d still like to work with us (and we can understand why you would), we’d love to hear from you. Please send in your CV to email@example.com. Don’t forget to include a one-page cover letter that explains why you’d be a good fit for VRR.
VRR is a world leader in the design, manufacture and maintenance of Unit Load Devices (ULDs). Our ULDs are made-to-order, high in quality and best value-for-money. We are a progressive and growing company that serves many different types of organisations around the world, and we’re known for finding the best solutions for our customers and the aviation industry.
VRR is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands' second largest city and Europe's biggest port. Modern and youthful, with unique urbanism, eye-catching architecture and a cool nightlife, Rotterdam is at the heart of the shipping and trade industries. It’s also a great place to live and work.
Our headquarters, which are close to public transportation, include plenty of parking, a modern office and (yay!) great coffee. We also have a service and maintenance facility in Badhoevedorp, near Schiphol airport (but not sure if their coffee is better or not).
You take the first step. Send your CV with a motivation letter to firstname.lastname@example.org or the person mentioned in the vacancy ad.
We will contact you within a few days of hearing from you. If we think you are a promising candidate, we will invite you for a preliminary interview. The person conducting that interview depends on the job opening. Naturally, we will tell you who that is.
If we see no reason for a preliminary interview? We will send you an email to let you know.
If we think the preliminary interview went well, we will call you to ask if you feel the same way. If so, we will plan a second interview. More people are usually involved in the second interview. You will know beforehand who you are to meet and what the schedule is.
The reason for involving more people at this stage is to let you meet potential colleagues and to explore issues in more depth. It also gives the team a voice in the application procedure. It goes without saying that you and the team should be a good match. The employment conditions are also a part of this conversation.
If we do not want to invite you for a second interview? We will let you know as soon as possible why that is the case.
If everyone, including you, is still enthusiastic after the second interview, and if your salary expectations meet our offer, you will receive a contract proposal from us. This proposal sets out the conditions of the job that we would like to offer you.
What if we do not want to offer you the job? We will call you as soon as possible to tell you why.
If you accept our offer, we will send you a contract by e-mail, as well as the Personnel Manual and a number of forms to make the commencement of employment as smooth as possible.
Have both you and our director signed the contract? Many congratulations and welcome to the VRR family!
We aim to complete every application procedure within 4 to 6 weeks. If, at any time, we deviate from this process or timeline, we will explain why.
We could tell you more about our innovative mindset, passion for creating and our groundbreaking ULD-experts. But who better to tell you about VRR's great employee's than the employee's themselves? Get to know our team in below videos. They may soon be your new colleagues...
