AKN / DPN FAK Container
The AKN FAK (Fly-Away kit, also known as the flight spare kit, FSK, or simply flight kit) is the most versatile ULD there is since it can be custom equipped for specific tasks and equipment. Moreover, it is a half-width lower-deck container - known as LD3 - and therefore compatible with a wide range of aircraft.
The possibilities for this container are virtually limitless. Doors and/or hatches can be placed on one or multiple sides, and the interior design can be completely customised by our experienced engineering team. As you can see in the examples above.
Ordering a Fly-Away Kit
It is good to realise that a AKN FAK is not a standard ULD, ready to order. We'll make this container custum to your wishes. When you tell our engineers the equipment that needs to be shipped, they’ll be able to design the most efficient interior and exterior for you.

Difference between AKN and DPN FAK containers
The DPN is a non-certified FAK container specially for the B767 aircraft, yet it has exactly the same construction and configuration options as the certified AKN version.
