New ULD for Caterham F1 Team

In the heat of battle, efficient and safe transport of racing parts and equipment to races all over the world is extremely important for a Formula One racing team. This also applies to the Caterham F1 team and therefore they purchased a brand new AMD Container for transporting their valuable racing parts/equipment.

An AMD type container is a typical Boeing 747 main deck container which outperforms all other containers in volume with its height reaching all the way up to nearly 118 inch. This version is equipped with two solid lightweight doors for both safety and handling reasons.

A certified ULD

The AMD container is a certified ULD (Unit Load Device), which means after loading and securing the parts and closing up the door, the container can directly be loaded into an aircraft, ready for take-off and on their way to the next race.
