During the racing season, Formula One teams have to transport their valuable equipment from venue to venue. It’s a huge logistical undertaking, so the teams demand the best cargo containers available. They want to ensure everything arrives safely, but they also want convenience. With this in mind, Williams, one of the world's leading Formula One teams, approached VRR to design and manufacture an AMP container that met their specific needs.
A robust and versatile container
The AMP is a robust, lower-deck container based on a 96x125 inch pallet footprint, which makes it compatible with almost every wide-body aircraft and perfectly suitable for truck transport. No wonder the AMP container a beloved product in the transport industry.
Designed to accomodate flight cases
Racing parts and equipment are mostly packed in flight cases. These can be loaded and secured easily inside the new AMP container. Two lightweight double-hinged, solid doors can be opened up completely, giving full access without any obstruction. After loading, the flight cases can be secured by straps. These straps can be attached to the seat track points, which are integrated into the floor of the container.
More information can be found on the product page of the AMP Container.
