As the end of another year approaches, many of us find ourselves looking back at the year just gone and looking forward to the year ahead. Reflecting on all that we’ve achieved or haven’t achieved and making plans for the future. VRR is no exception.
2014 was a year of considerable change for us. We expanded the business by taking on more personnel and by extending our headquarters in Rotterdam. We also gave the premises a full make-over. The disruption caused by the construction works was considerable and, while we camped out in the canteen, there were times when most of us longed for our old offices. But now the work has been completed, everyone is delighted with the results.
We’ve also been busy doing what we do best – designing, engineering and manufacturing ULDs. We’ve had some extremely interesting projects that have kept us challenged (but not beaten). This newsletter looks at three of those projects: the AMX container, Flight Spare Kits and a new helicopter ULDs.
In 2015, the Inter Airport Europe (6 – 9 October, Munich) is back on the agenda. This is a biennial trade fair and one of the biggest and most important in our industry. VRR will be having a stand, so we hope to see you there. We’ll also be participating in various meetings and conferences (e.g. IATA, SAE) throughout the year. We’ll keep you posted about these in our news items.
Let’s round of this newsletter by thanking you for the part you have played in our achievements this year, and wishing you all a healthy, happy and prosperous 2015.
With season’s greetings from VRR
