Equine shipments with narrow body aircrafts

VRR developed a horse stable for use aboard TNT Express B737F's.

At last, there is a durable and comfortable solution to transport horses per narrow-body B737 freighters.

The new horse stable is designated as HAY and allows transport of one, two or three horses per stable. The design allows for both walk-on & walk-off transport as well as loading in the warehouse or animal hotel.

During flight, crew can pass on either side of the stable as there are aisles incorporated in the design.

The horses are well protected during flight, and travel under a roof structure which is fully covered to prevent ingress of water or direct sunlight at ramp transfers.

The HAY stables are certified by EASA and can be used in the cargo loading system as any other ULD - there is no need to reconfigure the cargo loading system for horse shipments.
